Teen and Child Climbing Classes and Activities

RedPoint is a community-centered lifestyle fitness recreation health facility which recognizes that the key to overall life-long well-being begins in childhood. Our facility offers several classes directed just for kids and young adults and our instructors aim to employ a variety of fun, creative and age-appropriate activities to promote healthy development and well-being. Please note that EVERYONE must provide a waiver to be allowed in the facility. Individuals under the age of 18 MUST have a waiver signed by their legal parent or guardian. You can print out both sides of the waiver here

CHILD POLICY: In order to participate in any of RedPoint’s activities, all children 13 years of age and under MUST have an adult physically enter the building to check in and pick up a minor. Climbing Classes

Rock Tots - Ages 4 - 6

Rock Tots focuses on climbing-based motor skill development, balance and coordination. The program includes full climbing gym access, weekly classes and rental gear! Rock Tot Membership: Monthly: $60/child, Year-draft: $40/mo/child, non-member price/class: $15

Zoo Crew/Parents’ Night Out- Ages 7 - 12

Our instructors teach basic climbing skills and assist with proper climbing techniques, introducing them to an alternative extra-curricular activity while giving parents some time to go out! The program includes full climbing gym access, weekly coaching and rental gear! Zoo Crew Membership: Monthly: $65/child, Year-draft: $45/mo/child, non-member price/class: $15

**Please note that all Zoo Crew children picked up after 8:40 will be charged a $10 late pick up fee**

Junior and Performance Climbing Team - Ages 12 - 19, BY INVITATION ONLY

Gym members are selected on a try-out basis or by a coach approval. Our instructors fine-tune your climbing skills, offering

one-on-one instruction to take your skills to the next level! We also provide information about climbing events and competitions in the area. The program includes full climbing membership, coaching twice a week and rental gear. Membership: Monthly: $75/child, Yearly draft: $60/mo/child for bank draft

Activities and Events

Birthday Parties - All ages

Includes 1 1/2 hours of belayed climbing, 2 belayers, rental gear, a party area for food and presents, invitations, and a tee-shirt for the birthday child! $125. $50 deposit required 2 weeks before party date. $10 each additional child and $15 for each additional belayer. Call for additional details

Groups - All ages

Youth groups, FRG’s, etc. Includes all day climbing gym access, rental gear, and 2 belayers for 1 1/2 hours OR a belay class. $15/person, $75 minimum. $50 deposit due two weeks prior to scheduled date. Call for additional details

Boy Scouts - Climbing Merit Badge

This day-long course will cover all of the necessary climbing skills and knowledge for the Boy Scout Merit Badge, such as how climbs are classified in level of difficulty, how to manage and use the rope properly and safely, various knots, and more! Minimum of 4, maximum of 10 scouts. $50 deposit due two weeks prior to scheduled date. $50 per scout. Call for additional details

Lock-Ins

Want to climb all night long? Come to RedPoint for a lock-in! Minimum of 20 paid climbers, plus one (free) chaperon per 4 climbers. Must pre-schedule a minimum of 2 weeks in advance. $100 non-refundable deposit due two weeks prior to lock-in. $25/person.

Youth Sunday’s Climbing Special

Spend the afternoon building relationships with your youth groups! Climbing is working together and pushing limits! Youth groups can schedule an hour and a half of climb time at a special rate of $10/child for 8 to 15 kids or $8/child for 16 or more kids on Sundays between 1 and 5 pm. Price includes gear and belayers for 1.5 hours. Must pre-schedule two weeks in advance with a $50 deposit. There is an $80 minimum to secure this special rate.
